Parents Visa

Planning to reunite with your family in Australia?

We can help you navigate the Australian visa options for aged and contributory parents. Whether you're outside Australia or already there, there's a pathway for you to live with your children.

Visa Options for Parents Outside Australia:

  • Live Permanently with Faster Processing:

    • Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 143): Ideal if you're willing to pay a higher application fee for quicker processing.

  • Live Permanently with Standard Processing:

    • Parent Visa (Subclass 103): This is the most common option, but be prepared for potentially long processing times.

  • Temporary Stay with Faster Processing:

    • Contributory Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 173): This lets you live in Australia for up to two years while you wait for a permanent visa.

  • For Eligible Older Parents:

    • Aged Dependent Relative Visa (Subclass 114): This permanent visa allows some older parents to migrate if they have financial support from an eligible relative in Australia.

Visa Options for Parents Already in Australia:

  • Live Permanently:

    • Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 804): Similar to the Subclass 103, but for applicants already in Australia. Expect potentially long processing times.

  • Live Permanently with Faster Processing:

    • Contributory Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 864): This is the subclass 143 equivalent for applicants already in Australia.

  • Temporary Stay with Faster Processing:

    • Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 884): Similar to the Subclass 173, but for applicants already in Australia.

  • For Eligible Older Parents:

    • Aged Dependent Relative Visa (Subclass 838): This is the subclass 114 equivalent for applicants already in Australia.
